The owners and founders of Stylish Seychelles, Caroline Chang-Leng and Lydia La Rue, worked for the Seychelles Tourist Office in London. We enjoyed advising visitors to Seychelles about our stunning Seychelles islands and also sharing our passion for Seychelles, our homeland with them. So much so that we decided to set up our own specialist tour operator to Seychelles, Silhouette Travel (named after one of the islands in Seychelles) in 1997. This has recently evolved to Stylish Seychelles and our new website is born!
Caroline was also born on Mahe and later moved to Canada for her education. Her interest in travel started as a young child when family holidays involved island hopping in Seychelles as well as holidaying in Europe, the Far East and nearby Mauritius. These days she can be found in Seychelles every August, island hopping with her niece and nephew and on most days catching fish for their dinner. Caroline is also a regular visitor to Maldives, Mauritius, Dubai, Singapore and more recently has discovered the beauty and culture of Sri Lanka
Lydia grew up on the main Island of Mahe at Anse Forbans beach. Her first job was as tour guide with a tourism company, and although she has worked with various other companies since, her love of tourism and travel saw her taking a post at the Seychelles Tourist office in London. As a child she would spend holidays with friends or grand parents who lived on many of the islands in Seychelles. She now goes to Seychelles very frequently, island hopping, picnicking with friends and family on some of the best beaches of Seychelles, keeping up to date with what's happening in Seychelles and sampling out the best restaurants - she loves Creole cuisine!! Lydia also travels regularly to Mauritius and Maldives and she has recently visited Zanzibar
